Cobblestone Management Group has been serving the unique needs of absentee homeowners on Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island since 2008. We specialize in property care, provide concierge services, and manage a small portfolio of luxury vacation rentals. Our concentrated service area, boutique approach to leasing, and commitment to positive working relationships ensures that our clients receive the personalized service that they expect and deserve.

Chad was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He is a Clemson University graduate and began working at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in 2000. During his time in Guest Services and Property Management at the resort, Chad oversaw 110 villas and maintained positive working relationships with owners while ensuring guest satisfaction. He was also instrumental in opening two destination clubs at Kiawah Island. After getting to know the local rental market and seasonal residents, Chad came to understand that most absentee homeowners do not want or need to rent out their investment property. There was, however, a need for personalized and professional property management services. Chad established Cobblestone Management Group with that need in mind.

When Chad isn’t working he’s enjoying time on the water with his wife, Melissa and two children.

Melissa was raised in Virginia. She graduated from the College of Business at Virginia Tech with a Hospitality and Tourism Management degree. She relocated to Charleston in 2001 after having worked at the 5 Star Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. She has worked on Kiawah Island ever since. Melissa has been involved in the opening of two destination clubs on Kiawah, and she was an opening team member for The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, another 5 Star hotel. She currently holds a position on the hotel’s operation committee and oversees resort renovations as well as the design of all public spaces and guest rooms.

When Melissa isn’t at the resort or managing projects for Cobblestone clients, she enjoys golfing, boating, traveling and spending time with her family.

As such, we offer flexible service bundles and a la carte options that are completely customizable. Our clients only pay for the services they desire, and we do not require long-term contracts. Our clients maintain the freedom to cancel services at any time without penalty because we are confident in our ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
